Release Notes

A Notepad-like program and folder management program, especially useful for managing heavily used folders in a business network setting.

Found another bug that was totally unexpected and doesn't make sense. Issue resolved.

For some reason the program will not load files from the Program Files folder immediately upon a full system startup.
I'm not sure if this has something to do with access rights to the Program Files folder during startup, but Win XP does this as well.
I moved the files to C:\ to resolve the issue. Still not sure why this happens.

Upgrade from 1.5 to 1.5.1
  • The text files used by the program need to be moved to retain data.
    • Move pad1.txt, pad2.txt, pad3.txt, pad4.txt , pad5.txt and padfolder.txt from program folder to C:\.

Upgrade from 1.0 to 1.5
  • The text files used by the program need to be moved to retain data.
    • Move pad1.txt, pad2.txt, pad3.txt, pad4.txt and pad5.txt from C:\WINDOWS\system32 to C:\.
    • FolderPad: there are two ways to handle this.
    • Record paths and add again manually.
    • Move padfolder.txt from C:\WINDOWS\system32 to C:\, open it, and move line2 above line1 and add a third line. This should be ok when SysPad is run. To update with UNC paths, (which is waht line3 is for), just use the Edit Path... option and click OK, and it will record the UNC path as well.
